    Introduction

Gleneagles Hospital is situated on the Jalan Ampang or Ampang Road—a major road in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

It is about 60km or 50 minutes drive from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL).

Gleneagles has a meet-and-greet facility at the airport, and foreign patients can request for arrangement of transportation from airport to the hospital.

The Kuala Lampur City Centre (KLCC) is just around and there are many hotels (luxury and affordable), clubs, restaurants, and other entertainment options in the area.

    What's around

The heart of Kuala Lampur, which has the city’s most important commercial, business, and entertainment places.

It is replete with tourist attractions and has myriad options for dinning, arts, culture, recreation, relaxation, shopping, and entertainment.

The KLCC is about 15 mins drive from the Gleneagles Hospital.

The most famous landmark of the Malaysian Capital, these are twin skyscrapers in Kuala Lampur that feature an art gallery, a philharmonic theatre, an underwater aquarium, a Science center, and some of the top shopping malls in Malaysia—Suria KLCC.

Just below the building is the KLCC park that spans a massive 17 acres— it has jogging and walking paths, fountains, wading pools, and a playground for kids.

Petronas Towers are just about 10 mins drive from the Gleneagles Hospital.

A fascinating, world-class aquarium located below Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre within the KLCC area. It features over 5,000 land and aquatic animals with interesting information on the journey of water from the land to the sea.

Fine-dining restaurants, iconic clubs and rooftop bars are aplenty in the area—Marini’s on 57(Italian), View rooftop bar, Skybar, Club Quattro, Sultan lounge etc.

Also, there are several spas and massage parlors, shopping malls with international luxury brands, and many entertainment options around the area.
